Off Road Haul Truck Driver QUALIFICATIONS Must meet the minimum requirements for employment: • Must be at least 18 Years of age • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen • Have a phone to be reachable. • Have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. • Be reliable and have own transportation to and from work • Have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others and follow instructions • Possess strong organizational skills and the motivation to operate in a professional manner ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES • Good communication skills, able to take direction well, think ahead and work efficiently. • Must be able to follow direction, and work both independently and in a team environment. • Perform daily start-up procedures of equipment • Must be able to transport and dump loose aggregate safely • Must be able to climb on and off equipment • Must have good hand/eye coordination and be able to operate foot & hand controls • Must be able to sit for long periods and operate equipment • Perform cleanup operations and other duties as determined by manager • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and conduct self in a safe and professional manner. • Maintain and ensure consistent and accurate work, safety logs, and maintenance reports • Be able to identify and track additional work beyond scope • Work flexible hours including weekends may be required. WORKING CONDITIONS • Must be able to lift up to #50lbs without assistance bend, and stoop, squat, kneel, reach, grip, etc. Pushing / Pulling up to 50lbs without assistance • Exposed to dirty conditions and to various weather conditions, rain, sleet, snow, wind heat and cold • Jobs are performed in outside environment with close proximity to yard traffic, heavy construction equipment and hazardous conditions COMPENSATION / BENEFITS • Delta offers a very competitive compensation and benefit package including: Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance.
