Job Description Kendal Floral Supply in Carlsbad is seeking help for the following full time position: PACKER/RUNNER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Package bouquets/arrangements into cartons and /or buckets according to recipe specifications. Verify UPC has correct information. Verify correct quantities are being packed. Communicate with Packing Lead about incomplete orders. Palletize and label finished orders. Shrink wrap finished pallets or rolling carts according to customer specifications. Consistently supplies production with correct type and quantity of flowers. Pull and safely transport flowers from cooler to the production tables. Maintain a plentiful supply of clean buckets to maximize production efficiency. Take back into the cooler any unused product left at the end of the day. Maintain a clean and organized work area during the day and at the end of shift. Takes buckets out of the work area and dumps cardboard inside a compactor. Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Minimum of six months manufacturing related experience or training. High School or GED preferred. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment 35 to 45 degrees Ability to read and write. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to follow directions. Ability to move/lift buckets and boxes frequently up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work overtime when needed. Ability to work on weekends when required. Shift: 1st Shift - Monday to Friday 5:00 pm to 1:30 pm (Subject to change during holiday season) Job Type: Full Time Pay: $17.00 per hour
