Just blocks from the beach, we offer an intimate 1-room studio specializing in getting great vocals. Safe neighborhood with ample free parking I've worked with many singers from beginners to Grammy winners, and I know how to help get the best performances. We have top gear including a Neumann U-87 and Shure SM7 (Michael Jackson's mic used on Thriller), Universal Audio Apollo X interface, Amphion Speakers, the newest Pro Tools, and other top equipment (Neve style mic pre, LA3A compressor, etc.). More importantly, I am highly experienced, fast and efficient with Pro Tools editing and comp'ing. Rate is $75/hour, and that includes myself as engineer. Note: this is a professionally treated room in a residential setting. Due to the size, we can accommodate only 2-3 people at once. In addition to recording vocals, I offer mixing and mastering services as well.
