Bassist looking to start original band

Looking to start an original band. I'm not part of the local music "scene" so I haven't had any luck finding people to even just jam with. I'm 34, not into doing covers, not trying to play the bars, and this is gratiot county so I'm definitely not planning to make it big. Looking to do something original, with a unique sound. Comedy would be great, and I'm not really offended by anything. I'd be into costumes and making music videos and such. Looking for a sound like Ramones/Killdozer/Mentors/Gwar/Motörhead/Misfits etc. I play 4-string with a pick, real fast, real loud. Sometimes do chords, always keep a tight rhythm and work close with the drummer. I'm not the type that follows the guitarist and plays the guitar part note for note on bass. Completely self taught, can't read music or name any notes. Don't really care to. Ideally would be a 3-piece band, bass, guitar/vocals, drums. I can sing but would prefer to sing backup as I'm not great at playing and singing at the same time. I have my own equipment. Could easily invest in better stuff if I find anyone serious about making music.
