Gardener & Groundskeeper for Private Farm Hourly Rate: To be discussed at interview Looking for an experienced gardener/groundskeeper to care for the grounds of a 100 acre private property in Ottsville, PA Responsibilities will include: Regular management and weeding of multiple beds and gardens Planting of annuals, perennials, vegetables and other plantings as needed Spring mulching Branch removal and tree breakdown and removal when necessary Fall leaf blowing Snow removal Firewood splitting and stacking Gutter cleaning pressure washing lawn mowing Some small, odd jobs as needed Looking for long term commitments. At least 30 hours/week set your own hours Hours are somewhat flexible, but should be routine Compensation will be discussed at time of interview Must have experience with gardening, plants pruning, soil amendments etc. Must be able to drive Tractor, Gator vehicle, etc. Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, bend over, etc. Experience with basic power tools and landscaping equipment required. Vehicle mechanical knowledge is a plus. Must have your own current driver's license and insured vehicle. Ideal candidate is able to self manage and stay organized while being detail oriented. Must be able to manage your own tasks and time. Required to work in most weather conditions as this is an outdoor position. Must be reliable and serious about this commitment.
