Job Description: Beech Tree Apartments is a family-owned 66-unit apartment community located in Great Barrington, MA. We strive to provide exemplary service to our tenants and upkeep a well-kept property. We are seeking a skilled and professional maintenance technician to assist in maintaining our community! Position Description: Are you a self-motivated maintenance technician looking to utilize your skill set within a residential apartment community? Apply to our organization today! We are seeking a talented individual that can take initiative to assist with the general upkeep of our 66-unit rental property, maintain the interior and exterior appearance, fix issues as they arise, and attend to all matters within the rental units. We are seeking a long-term employee that will serve as an asset to our organization. This is a full-time position with compensation based on experience. Specific duties of this position include: • Complete maintenance requests within 48 hours • Communicate with other staff members to complete work on the property • Pickup trash on property daily (attending to any unsightly debris) • Landscape property weekly during the summer, spring, and fall • Tend to 24/7 emergency maintenance calls • Suggest improvements/recommendations to corporate as needed • Maintain overall appearance, safety, and cleanliness of the community • Complete make-readies (apartment turns) in a timely manner • Remove snow from parking lot and sidewalks during winter • Keep the parking lot free of debris (leaves, sand, etc.) • Maintain garden beds around the properties (weeding, mulching, trimming bushes) • Clean common areas as needed (entryways, hallways, basements) Required Qualifications: • 2-3 years of maintenance experience • Electrical experience/knowledge • Plumbing experience/knowledge • Must have a valid drivers license • Must pass a background check • Must be able to handle heavy appliances and equipment To apply to our company and become a part of our team, please send your resume.
