MarathonFoto® will be the official photographer at the Grandma's Marathon on June 19th 2021, and we are looking for photographers to complete our team. We are an experienced sports photography company covering 500 events worldwide, including the marathon majors in Boston, Chicago, London, and New York. By capturing the runners and their emotions we make sure that their special moments of all runners are kept for them forever and available for viewing and buying afterwards. You will be taking photos of runners in motion along the course as well as in the start/finish area. Experience in sports photography or event photography and adequate photo equipment knowledge is necessary for this job as well as physical endurance. Check us out at www.marathonfoto.com Pay: $20/hr. Events typical last around 8 hours (+/-). This is a temporary, part-time, event based job. There may be an opportunity to work multiple events depending on events scheduled in your area. We guarantee $20/hour and depending on performance this can increase up $50/hour. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Taking good quality photographs of participants during the event. - Working with a team to ensure photography during events runs as smoothly as possible while photographing as many participants as possible. - No selling or post production editing is required. Requirements: - At least 2 year of DSLR camera experience with the ability to quickly take good quality, consistent photos of race participants. - The ability to work quickly, efficiently, react quickly and make good decisions while multi-tasking at a very fast pace. - Ability to anticipate a great photo opportunity. - The ability to stand, move quickly and hold the camera for the duration of the assigned event. - Events are outdoors and in the elements. Photographers must be willing and able to work in these conditions. - The ability to adhere to a schedule, arrive on time for events, stay for the duration of events, and have reliable transportation. - Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the USA - Successful completion of a background check may be required.
