Hey my name is Alicia I was medically discharged form the United States Army for having Celiac Disease it ended my military career earlier then expected and has impacted my life forever. Its hard to say but having celiac disease has changed me my whole life and its a hard adjustment for anyone to make especially little kids. Having to constantly ask myself will I be made fun of for to having? Will I have to bring my own food to someone's house? Will my kids have the same thing? All these thoughts go through someone's head with celiac disease and there's not many companies that help with an adjustment to gluten free. Well I want to be the one to change that to offer a care package for those recently diagnosed or struggle with the transition because some of the food does not have the greatest taste. At the same time i want to be able to provided Care Packages with gluten free foods for those soldiers deployed over seas that are struggling with it because from my experience they do not provided enough gluten free options for those soldiers who need it.
