Job Description Crown Property Management is seeking a hard-working, organized individual to fill a full-time Maintenance Technician position. This position is a key member of our customer service team and shall exercise great customer service skills and is responsible for performing maintenance and other duties at apartment community. Responsibilities: Interact with residents in a professional, courteous, and non-discriminatory manner Complete work orders including: light plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting; repairs of showers, sinks, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors Complete some grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and testing of items including smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors and replacement of filters Snow removal and application of ice melt Document work orders accurately with work done, parts used and time spent Effectively assess a situation which may require assistance or specialized equipment and respond appropriately Communicate daily with Supervisor regarding scheduling, vendors and supplies to ensure all objectives are met Re-key locks and cut keys Assist in monitoring maintenance inventory, parts and cleaning supplies Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicles in a satisfactory condition Perform other reasonable duties as assigned Requirements: Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Be prepared to respond to a variety of maintenance needs, often with little advance notice and a selective degree of urgency Ability to use tools and/or power machinery properly and safely Must possess own tools Maintain a professional appearance and attitude Be available to work on an on-call basis Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain personal auto insurance Must inform Company of any driving and moving violations or driver’s license suspensions immediately regardless as to whether or not such violations and/or suspensions were incurred on company or personal time High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: Sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl depending on specific needs of day Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to climb a ladder and walk on roof at least 30 feet in the air Ability to move up stairs with heavy equipment, appliances, supplies and tools which may weigh up more than 100 pounds Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals What We Offer: Compensation based on experience Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off Medical, Dental & Vision benefits available Check out Crown Property Management on our website: www.crownpropertymanagement.com Equal Opportunity Employer Salary USD 17 - 18 Per hour Career Level Required Experienced (Non-Manager) Experience Required 1+ to 2 Years Education Required High School or equivalent Job Type Employee Job Status Full Time
