POSITION & SCHEDULE CMI is currently hiring for the position of Porter. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that serves a community in the Pearl District. There is no parking provided but easy public transportation to the building. The hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with 30 minutes for an unpaid lunch. These hours are subject to change based on the needs of our clients. Some overtime may be necessary. This position has a great schedule for the early bird wanting their afternoons/evenings free! PRIMARY ACTIVITIES & SKILLS • The candidate will provide janitorial services in the common areas including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing the elevator metal, cleaning common area restrooms, coordinating access for vendors occasionally, keeping up the garbage/recycling areas, washing windows, blowing and hosing down concrete areas, cleaning stairwells, litter patrol, light pool maintenance, etc. • Inquisitive nature and a willingness to learn the business. • Ability to admit mistakes and learn from them. • Flexibility, confidentiality and the ability to learn quickly are imperative for the lucky candidate that successfully completes the interview process, pre-employment requirements, including a drug screen and criminal background check. CMI participates in E-Verify and is an equal opportunity employer. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • The candidate will have a minimum of one year experience in all aspects of cleaning, the ability to work in a team environment as well as alone, initiative, basic math and English skills for reading instructions and mixing cleaning formulas, excellent customer service skills and good personal hygiene standards. • Candidates must supply 3 professional references supporting their abilities in these areas. A FEW MORE THINGS • The minimum starting wage for this position is $15.00 per hour. Uniforms and a company cell phone are provided. • Benefits package includes 401k, 125 Cafeteria Plan, Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays.
