Description
I have a 5 month old female (I think) lop eared bunny for rehome. She has reached sexually maturity and needs to be spayed, but I just don't want to put anymore money into her. My beloved cat unexpectedly and tragically passed away recently and I'd like to be done with pets for awhile so I can travel. The bunny will come with her large 4 foot by 4 foot pen, bed pads, litter pans, carrier, water and food dishes and other remaining supplies. Rehoming fee of 50 dollars. I will also need to know a little bit about the home she is going. She does enjoy plenty of free roaming time so no homes who plan to stick her in a pen in a far off room and forget about her. It's also very important she get vet care and be spayed - no breeders! If you have another spayed female bunny, that could work and I could let her go to you for free and keep back the supplies - but you must provide proof you actually have another bunny and a nice set up. You will need a large bunny proofed area in your house for her to hop around. She loves to run and gets the zoomies when I first let her out of her cage every morning, but my small cluttered fully carpeted apartment isn't the best design for this as she gets into everything. Just don't want you to make the same mistakes I did! She likes plenty of salad and can eat up to about 2 cups of greens a day, besides her pellets and hay. She loves to come up to you for head pets and full body rubs, but bunnies do NOT like to be picked up, so if you have young kids who are going to be wanting to pick her up all the time (because she is very irresistible and cute), you may not be the right fit. We are working on litter training, and while she does most of her business in there, she will still leave little surprises here and there.
