My name is Steven McKinney and I am the coordinator for the Next Level Church Worship Team Band, Greater Concord location. We are a multi-site church that exists to be relevant, loving and life giving. We are currently in the process of adding to our rotating-member worship team! What do I mean by rotating member? Well, that means we have several band members of all different musical abilities that rotate throughout the month so that no one is obligated to serve every Sunday. We are looking for every kind of musician; vocals, drums, keyboard, electric and acoustic guitar, and ESPECIALLY bass guitar! We know musicians come from all different kinds of backgrounds, that’s why we never ask our band members to share their personal belief systems unless they wish to. We are a nondenominational church who just loves Jesus, and a team of all backgrounds who just love to play music together. Our morning set it made up from cover songs that are heavily influenced by Elevation Worship, Hillsong, Bethel Music, and many more! We can be best described as Christian Alternative Rock/Pop. It makes for a very high energy morning and we welcome all kinds of musicians to bring their own feel to music! I’ll just say it point blank- we have a light show in a dark room, it’s loud, and it’s a rowdy bunch on and off the stage! We have some fun! This is not your average church band. When you’re a member of this team, your only time commitment is Sunday mornings and whatever practice time you need on your own during the week - and just a reminder, you will not be asked to serve every Sunday. As a coordinator, I will respect everyone’s time and schedule a member only as often as they wish to be scheduled. Excited?! How do we make this happen?!
