Position Description A car washer cleans most parts of a car including cracks and crevices that are not cleaned by standard car wash systems. Work Environment •Time is spent outside of vehicles. •Must be able to work with strong detergents and chemicals. •Time is spent working outside in both very hot and very cold weather. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities •Must have exceptional customer service skills. •Must be detail oriented. •Must have excellent communication skills. •Must be an active listener and exercise sound judgment.. •Must be a good time manage and multi-tasker. •The ability to follow complex instructions is a plus. •Must have the ability to effectively manage material resources and keep track of an inventory of supplies. •Should have ample knowledge of safety precautions. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must have a valid driver's license • This job position is designated as a safety-sensitive position • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels •Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet •Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance •Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity •Requires frequent driving •Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance SHOP HELPER Position & Description This position is responsible for performing a variety of basic and technical tasks to help with shop operation. Shop Operation • Move vehicles in and around shop. • Shop maintenance including cleaning floors, trash removal, etc. • Shop organization including equipment, tools, supplies and parts M-F 8-6, SAT 9-1 Paid Holidays/Vacation
