This handyman job IS NOT related to construction. And most of the work is performed indoors in a clean, organized, small shop. We are a dealer of used vans uniquely designed to carry people in wheelchairs. We buy vans that are usually 10-15 years old and then through our efforts and via other shops, they are rejuvenated cosmetically and functionally and then we sell them. We need someone who has a low or moderate level of ability to do a wide variety of different types of tasks. There is no need to have a high level of skill or experience with any particular type of work, although it’s a benefit if you do. You DO NOT need to be a pro mechanic, nor do you need body damage repair experience. There are many people who are capable of doing this job. This job is perfect for someone who wants or needs ongoing part time work, with some schedule flexibility. This is not a job for someone who will leave us in weeks or months and go to another job after the affect of Corona virus affect has passed. And this is not a job that is short term. We need a person who, after learning about this business and the job description, would anticipate wanting to work with us for some number of years, not months. We are flexible as to the days of the week for this job. The hours per week will vary. There will be some weeks with as few as 10-15 hours, most will have 15-25 hours, and some will have 25-35 hours. Starting rate of pay will be at least $15 and could be as much as $20, depending on your skill level and how much benefit you bring to our small business. There will be scheduled reviews as time passes, with likely increases in rate of pay. If this seems like an ongoing, flexible, part time job that may be a good fit for you, we would love to meet you.
