Pest Control Technician / Field Technician

Our Jersey City based Pest Control company is currently looking for individuals for our Field Technician position. No prior pest control experience required. This position is ideal for the candidate that wants to be part of a growing company providing a valuable service to our customers. REQUIREMENTS • A clean driving record is required • A minimum of 3 years with a valid driver's license is required • A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS: • The ability to communicate with clients and tenants. • The ability to maintaining truck and equipment in proper working order • The ability to enter/exit structures and crawl spaces • The ability to climb a ladder • The ability to ascend and descend stairs • The ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds • The ability to use required personal protective equipment • The ability to visually inspect for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc. • The ability to use application equipment (pesticides), inspection equipment, small hand tools, and small power tools • The ability to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations • The ability to keep accurate records of treatments provided • The ability to remove all pests found in accounts. • The ability to mix, apply, and work with pesticides in accordance with State and Federal laws • The ability to pick up and deliver supplies.
