Seeking full time General Laborer to help service our growing residential customer base! This is a great opportunity to work for a dynamic, family-oriented and employee focused company, FM Generator www.fmgenerator.com We are looking for a general laborer with strong work ethic to perform a variety of physical tasks. To be successful as a general laborer you must be able to perform a wide variety of tasks that require stamina and an eagerness to learn on the job. General Labor Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist in the delivery of equipment for residential generator projects. • Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipment. • Assist in site preparation for residential generator projects. • Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space. • Provide an extra set of hands to the installation team for residential generator projects. • Follow project instructions from Installation Coordinator. • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. • Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks. • Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment. • Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly. General Laborer Requirements: • Must be 18 years of age. • High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus • Driver’s License and acceptable to our insurance underwriters, driving record. • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 100 pounds. • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team. • Have experience towing a trailer. • Has Hoisting License or willing to obtain one within 30 days of hire. • Has a DOT medical card or willing to obtain one within 30 days of hire. • Has OSHA 10 card or completes training within 30 days of hire.
