PLEASE READ ADD SPECIFICS AS THERE ARE PREREQUISITES FOR APPLYING: We are looking to hire DOG WALKERS/CAT SITTERS (you do both!) who have open availability every M/W/F. You would be working occasional Sa or Su as well. We typically hire freelancers or those who generally have free availability during the day. You must be an individual who is extremely responsible, punctual, reliable, positive, patient, assertive, independent and caring. You need to have great communication skills and of course you need to love dogs and cats!!! You will need to own a bike as you are required to bike from visit to visit (no cars!!!). (You are not biking WITH the dogs. Just to get from one visit to the next.) We require that you live close to our service area as well; Williamsburg & Greenpoint. Your schedule would consist of anywhere from 7-12 visits (scheduled consecutively). You could move to more full time work for us should you want it and the opportunity arises. IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE POSITION YOU MUST 1) HAVE A BIKE, or ELECTRIC SCOOTER & BE COMFORTABLE RIDING IT IN BROOKLYN!! You need to be swift and be able to ride in all weather. MUST BE A CONFIDENT BIKER! 2) Open availability M/W/F 3) MUST LIVE WITHIN OR SHORT BIKING DISTANCE FROM OUR SERVICE AREA; GREENPOINT/WILLIAMSBURG 6)Must be able to commit to AT LEAST 4months. ------SEE BELOW FOR COMPENSATION DTLS. **Please provide us with a paragraph detailing your professional or personal experience regarding dogs and why you would be a good fit for this position.
