Volunteer with Columbus Gives Back and bundling produce for neighbors in need across central Ohio! When: Saturday, June 26th from 10:00am - 12:00pm Volunteers needed: 4 Event Leaders: [email protected] Where: 670 Harmon Ave., Columbus, OH 43223 Where to meet: Enter the 3rd door near the dock area. Someone should be there to let you in. If not, try pressing the door buzzer. What to Wear: Please wear long pants and no open-toed shoes. COVID-19 Precautions: In an effort to keep our volunteers, event leaders, and non-profit partners safe , all Columbus Gives Back volunteers are required to wear face masks and observe social distancing as appropriate to complete volunteer tasks. Volunteers who are sick, especially with fever or the growing number of Covid-19 symptoms, should stay home. We highly recommend that our volunteers wash their hands, use hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of the event, and/or wear gloves. We will follow whatever safety policy our nonprofit partners have in addition to the safety precautions listed above. Any volunteers determined to neglect these precautions and put other volunteers or the people we serve at risk will be dismissed from the event. About LifeCare Alliance: LifeCare Alliance provides services to assist older adults or chronically ill residents in Franklin and Madison Counties. These services include home meal delivery, homemaker and home health aides, and health services from RNs at our Wellness Centers. The primary goal of each of their services is to help seniors remain in the comfort of their own homes with dignity, which is where 100% of them want to be. About Columbus Gives Back: We love Columbus, young professionals, and getting involved! Our mission is to connect young professionals across central Ohio and engage them in our communities through 35-40 social volunteer and philanthropic opportunities per month. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local! As of May 1st, outdoor/patio social twists will be coordinated at the discretion of event leaders and volunteers.
