Female singer songwriter looking to add band members for originals project. I sing, play acoustic guitar & a bit of keys. Looking to make it a trio or 4 piece band, and am looking to make a unique sound with possibly: Lead guitar, upright bass, cello or violin, percussion/cajon & maybe a key board player. Multi-instrumentalists would be great, but not necessary. Ability to sing harmonies is ideal, but not necessary for all members. Would need at least one other singer for harmonies and maybe switching off on some lead vocals. The genre is singer songwriter/alt folk/indie singer songwriter. Looking for semi-pro players that are good at creating melodic lines, hooks and adding color to stripped down songs to make them fuller. It would be cool to do a handful of covers, and if another member also wrote songs that fit the vibe of the project it would be great to add some of those songs. No drugs or heavy drinkers. I’m middle aged, so those in the 40-60 range would be a good fit. Looking to create good music, have fun, play gigs and do some recordings. Influences range from older artists like Neil Young, Crosby Stills & Nash, Joni Mitchell & John Prine, to Iron & Wine, The Lumineers, Lori McKenna, Sufjan Stevens, Fleet Foxes, First Aid Kit & The Decemberists.
