June 18, the K Haus will be hosting a charity event to the full benefit of Oishei Children's Hospital Foundation featuring Chef Darin Bryan. The K Haus coworking space is emphatic about community. Curating events with a purpose is a core part of our programming, outreach, and vision. Leading with a “give first” mentality to support Buffalo’s growth, we are thrilled to partner with the Oishei Children’s Hospital Foundation for An Evening with Chef Darian Bryan: Benefitting the John R. Oishei Foundation. On Friday, June 18th, community builders and leaders will gather for this charitable event, highlighting mental health and the unique services the Oishei Children’s Hospital provides. The hospital has served as a long-standing community resource in and of itself. The Oishei Children’s Psychiatry Clinic sees more than 13,000 new cases annually, with more than 500 active cases at any one time. Its patients, ages 2 to 18, come from a wide variety of backgrounds reflecting the ethnic makeup of Buffalo’s population. Their facility encompasses a state-of-the-art observation room to help faculty and staff provide positive, comforting care. Services include diagnostic assessment and evaluation, individual psychotherapies and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, family, parent-child and group psychotherapies, and so much more. 100% of the proceeds for this event will go toward the John R. Oishei Foundation, specifically aiding in these services. In addition to supporting Oishei, the event’s purpose is to highlight issues surrounding mental health and the unique services Oishei provides for children in that area. 6:30 AM on the K Haus' terrace, we'll kick off the event with signature cocktails and live music by StroElle. Then get ready to enjoy some amazing food supplied by Braymillers, prepared by Buffalo’s own Chef Darian Bryan. We hope you’ll join us in support of this ever-important cause!
