Job Description: We are looking for a part-time early childhood teacher to work in a close-knit homey preschool/daycare. We have a group of fantastic kiddos whose ages range from 1-5, with up to 16 children attending a day. We are open Monday through Friday, from 730 am to 530 pm, and have 5 and 8 hour shifts available. Please let us know your availability and amount of hours you are interested in when applying. There is opportunities for more hours through subbing, and we also like to be flexible for college student's ever changing school schedules throughout the year. We have pets (bunnies, turtle, and 3 pugs that comes to work with owner, and fish) so you must love animals. There will never be night or weekend shift- hooray! BRIEF JOB SUMMARY: ~Early childhood teacher assistant helping with lessons, sports and activities, doing arts and crafts, as well as being a caregiver in both indoor and outdoor settings. ~Cooking and preparing meals, sanitizing and cleaning. ~Will need to provide personal care to children and infants (i.e. diaper changes and potty training). ~FIRST AID and ADULT/INFANT CPR certification required. ~16 paid training hours will need to be completed within the first 90 days. Previous experience would be fantastic, but overall love of children is most important! Wage dependent on experience and range of responsibilities.
