We offer paid vacation, 401K plus matching, competitive salary and generous benefits. SUMMARY This position is responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of RVs. Detailer positions are full-time unless otherwise indicated. DESCRIPTION Under direct supervision of the Detail Supervisor and Service Manager, this position performs thorough cleaning of the interior and exterior of the RVs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Cleaning the interior of recreational vehicles: steam cleaning carpets, washing windows, dusting furniture, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen counters and appliances, cleaning and sanitizing bathroom surfaces • Cleaning the exterior of units and outside compartments • Buffing and waxing exterior of units • Other duties as assigned REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate the following competencies: • Self-directed initiative, ability to apply oneself with limited supervision • Ability to work within a team environment • Willingness to learn: detailers work with a number of RV types and configurations, and must become familiar with the location of components in each unit • Ability to complete tasks and take pride in work accomplished • Attention to detail • High level of energy and excellent work ethic EDUCATION AND LICENSES High school education is preferred but not required. English reading, writing, and basic math are required. Valid driver’s license insurable by Blue Dog RV is preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Candidates for this position must have good general health and physical ability. Detailers are required to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift and must be able to lift at least 25 pounds frequently. Bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, and pulling are required on a constant basis. Candidates must be able to maneuver in tight spaces, climb stairs, and use hands for grasping and fine manipulation. Worksite is 50% indoors and 50% outdoors. Outdoor worksite is exposed to various weather conditions. TOOLS & MACHINERY Cleaning equipment used includes vacuums, steam cleaners, pressure washers, buffers, brooms, and various hand tools common to cleaning tasks. Detailers are exposed to cleaning chemicals on a regular basis. PPE (i.e., gloves, eye protection, masks) is available.
