Semiahmoo Residents Association seeks to fill a full-time maintenance technician position on our maintenance team. Qualified candidates must have a good attendance record and demonstrate the ability follow directions, work alone and in a team environment. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include landscaping, trail maintenance, care of flower beds, painting, light carpentry, troubleshooting electric/mechanical entry gates and other tasks as assigned by the department manager. Landscaping duties will include operating a backhoe/frontend loader, riding mower, chainsaw, pole saw, backpack leaf blower, string cutter/edger. Winter tasks include snow removal. This position receives medical, vision, dental and vacation benefits. Applicant must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry 50 to 75 pounds on a routine basis and work overtime as needed to support the HOA. Applicate must have a valid Washington State driver’s license. Wage depends on experience. Preference will be given to applicants with backhoe experience and/or a Washington State CDL.
