HELP Wanted!! Carpenter; Construction Site Laborer Pay DOE For the most part, our company does bathroom and kitchen remodels/renovations. We also build fences, decks, additions (to homes) and just about anything a homeowner might want done. If you consider yourself entry level in this field, keep in mind that there are constant learning opportunities and you will have the opportunity to accept more responsibility, as you become more proficient at various tasks/jobs. You may be asked to perform more demanding aspects of the job (ie using equipment, painting, demo work, etc). If you’ve thought about carpentry or construction as a career or even a ‘filler job’, this could be a great opportunity. What you may be doing on any given day: Job Set up and Clean Up. You will make sure necessary tools, equipment and products are on hand and set up on site each day. You might go in and hang hardy backer board to prepare a bathroom for tiling. Following that you might be asked to go into the rec room and remove all [existing] trim and anything else that might be necessary to remove before painting. Once all is removed, you might tape off the room in preparation. You will rarely be doing the same thing on a Tuesday that you were doing on a Monday. You will be responsible for job clean up throughout the day and at the end of each day. The majority of our jobs are IN people's homes. Safety and cleanliness are priorities. Our General Contractor has been working in this field for most of his adult life (30+yrs of experience). To be considered, you must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy, honest, and of course a hard worker. Must have a Washington Drivers License and a reliable source of transportation. You will be expected to drive a company truck now and then. Job locations changes regularly. 90% of our jobs are ON Camano Island. do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers
