Learn vermicomposting with Lori , Master Gardener. Join us for our second Master Gardener Summer Lecture Series on July 12th at 6:00pm ! Held outdoors in the Sycamore Public Library garden off Main St., Lori, Master Gardener, will demonstrate how begin vermicomposting. Vermicomposting is a composting process using worms to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, thus producing nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner you can use in your garden. Masks are required to be worn by all attendees both outdoors and inside, regardless of attendee vaccination status. In the event of inclement weather, we will host the lecture safely inside the library. All attendees will be contacted via email and/or phone of any location changes within 1 hour of the event starting time. Questions?
