An umbilical hernia happens when the mom chews off the cord a little too hard and makes the dog look like they have an "outie" belly button. It does not affect the dog long term or cause any growth or nutritional issues. In order to save money on anesthesia costs and to have the pet under more than once, it's general practice to wait until they are six months old to correct the issue.
Mom has pink hearts, dad yellow stars.
Indoors exclusively. Eating canned food. Using potty pads. First shot. Wormed once.
