Any other bag will be subject to additional inspection. For their own safety, attendees who are unvaccinated are encouraged to wear masks. Performers and live entertainment are still being confirmed. This schedule will be updated as the event approaches. On May 18th, 2021 the City Council of Dripping Springs declared June Pride month. The importance of this event cannot be underestimated - while large urban areas of Texas have largely embraced LGBTQ rights, rural and small town areas of Texas have been slower to openly and ceremoniously support the LGBTQ community. In taking this step the City of Dripping Springs stands as a model of allyship, equality, and inclusiveness to other communities in Texas. In celebration of this momentous event, and in the hopes of further encouraging business and community inclusiveness, we have formed the non-profit, Pride of Dripping Springs. Our first act as a non-profit will be to host the inaugural Pride of Dripping Springs celebration on June 26th, 2021. This will be a family friendly event to celebrate diversity in Dripping Springs. Through this event and others we strive to create an environment of diversity and inclusion for all. Pride of Dripping Springs supports businesses that value equality in all areas, and seeks to grow awareness in the community through education, invitation and open arms for the LGBTQ population, its allies and those who wish to expand their views.
