A guided free form community music and movement experience that fosters wellbeing and meaningful connection, while giving back to charity. NOTE: Our location is on SANTA MONICA BEACH! By lifeguard Tower 28 Convenient Parking : Lot 5 , 2701 Barnard Way, Santa Monica, CA 90405 With light facilitation and intention, we dance, liberate, and celebrate to eclectic tunes (from tribal house, to electronic, to old school funk, classics, and hip hop) streaming into silent disco headsets, giving you the freedom to dance, connect, and have space for full self expression. The sandy beach is your dance floor...the waves and the setting sun is your backdrop. Event Flow: 6:00-6:30- Check-in, Warm up, and mingle 6:30-6:45- Opening Circle and Intention Setting 6:45-7:45- Silent Disco Dance w/ Jenny Westra 7:45-8:00- Meditation, Music and closing circle What to bring: water bottle, extra warm layers for warmth and the final meditation, your mask. **This is a socially distanced event** We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable. Thankfully the beach allows for so much outdoor air and space. In order to be in compliance with the county health department and continue these events , please show up wearing a mask and keep socially distanced throughout the event. Please be mindful of other guests and beachgoers, and maintain social distance from those around you. Upon arrival temperatures will be taken and hand sanitizer will be provided. It's a movement to end loneliness worldwide. A portion of the proceeds of ticket sales and donations, supports ALMA, our non profit organization that addresses loneliness and isolation in seniors citizens through movement, arts, and intergenerational connection!!
