Who is ready to run & Drink for a great cause!!! Hazy Days Beer Mile hosted by the CBT Charlotte Run Club benefiting DSAGC CBT Charlotte Run Club is hosting a Beer Mile!!!! Join us as we have some fun drinking and running a single mile to benefit Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte. Entry Fee is $15 and includes 4 Beers. Omega Sports will be on hand to demo some of the latest running gear. How it works: Participants will drink 1 beer (or water) and run 1/4 mile and repeat until a full mile is completed. Don't want to run? The 4 beers are complimentary with your registration. You can walk, crawl or simply sit and cheer - just show up, support and have a good time. Wear Blue to support! Drinking beer is NOT required to participate. All participants a can elect to drink water at their own discretion All donations/proceeds from this event will benefit camp programs, family support groups, new parent mentoring, programs for adults with Down syndrome and community outreach. DSAGC mission is to enhance the quality of life for all people with Downs by empowering individuals, families and professionals with information and support through education, social programs and community partnerships. We envision a world of true inclusion in which all people with Downs have the chance to lead typical lives of possibility and opportunity, reach their goals and become valued members of welcoming communities.
