FREE AND OPENED TO THE PUBLIC. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED. DONATIONS APPRECIATED. Join Commissioner Felicia Franklin and the MTS Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc. on Saturday, June 19th as we light up the Historic Clayton County Courthouse in Downtown Jonesboro. June 19th is World Sickle Cell Day, an international awareness day observed annually with the goal to increase public knowledge and understanding of sickle cell disease, and the challenges experienced by patients and their families and caregivers. Please make plans to come out for this historic moment.
