Use your floral design skills to create a beautiful recreation of a piece of art.
General Information:
There is a $25 non-refundable entry fee per participant
Deadline to enter is Wednesday, June 15th at 5:00pm
A cash prize will be awarded to the first place contestant.
Rules and Guidelines:
Each contestant will be provided a piece of art to which to interpretive into a floral design.
The piece of art will be selected by the competition coordinator and you will be provided with a photo of the piece upon your entry registration.
Installation of your design will begin at 8:00 am on Saturday, June 19th, at the Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts, located at 205 S Broad St, Monroe, GA 30655, and must be completed by 8:45 am.
Each contestant will be responsible for supplying their own materials to create the design.
You may have your design completed prior to the installation and will be allowed to finish small details and finishing touches on location.
Along with the art piece, each contestant will be provided with a wooden pedestal to display the design but is not required.
The total design should not extend three(3)feet in width and eight(8)feet in height, including all materials.
The designs will remain on display at the Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts from 9 am til 3 pm, with an awards presentation shortly afterward.
