Description
TAMPA, FL — The city of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department is developing a comprehensive master plan to help guide the progress of the city's park facilities over the next 10 to 20 years.
Public engagement is a critical part of the planning process for the city's Strategic Vision for Transforming Tampa's Tomorrow.
Beginning on June 7, city staff, in cooperation with a national consultant team, will conduct a series of community meetings and surveys to assess residents needs and priorities.
Opportunities to provide feedback include mail surveys, in-person and virtual open houses, and an interactive online meeting room accessible from any computer or mobile device.
All community feedback will help develop a long-range vision for the department and will impact future funding, staffing and capital improvements.
