Since 2009, Creating Comfort has assisted Bay Area seniors with their relocation needs. We provide personalized moving and organizing solutions to help clients and their families facilitate the physical and emotional aspects of senior relocations. We provide floor planning, sorting, downsizing, packing, mover supervision, unpacking and resettling services throughout the Bay Area. Our clients are predominantly seniors relocating into retirement, assisted living or memory care communities.
Description:
We are seeking a customer service-oriented, empathetic professionals to help us pack, unpack and resettle our clients in their new homes. Must be mature, cheerful and energetic with the ability to take direction and change priorities quickly. We work in a fun, fast-paced environment and need reliable, punctual associates to help us. This is an active job with bending, standing, kneeling and reaching. Associates may be required to use a three-step stool and lift items up to 20 lbs.
Everyone starts as an associate to learn our business. All of our work is on a part-time, as-needed basis, depending on our workload and the location of our moves (typically Monday through Friday). We promote from within and are looking for associates with the communication, planning and organizational skills to become Senior Move Managers. Pay is hourly plus travel and is dependent on experience.
Qualifications:
College degree a plus
Detail oriented
Organizational skills a plus
Proficient in English, written & oral
Reliable transportation
Previous experience a plus
Criminal background check required
