Description

On May 27, The Sagemont School in Weston held a parade to celebrate the school's more than 40 graduating high school seniors. Students decorated their cars in the colors of The Sagemont School and their future colleges and made their way from the Lower School campus to the Upper School campus, where they were greeted and cheered for by other Upper School students. Weston Mayor Margaret "Peggy" Brown, accompanied by police and fire department escorts, led the parade and Blake Freedland, a graduating senior, flew his plane overhead. Sagemont School staff, students and families were invited to attend and honk their horns to celebrate this milestone event with the graduating seniors. Leading up to the parade, seniors participated in a "Senior Walk" where they sported their caps and gowns and were celebrated by staff and students at the Lower School. The Sagemont School is a diverse community of engaged learners and provides a college preparatory curriculum, athletics, arts and extra-curricular activities within a safe and nurturing environment.
