Celebrating Independence Day with Family Fun in Nichols Park Celebrating Independence Day with Family Fun in Nichols Park: Our beloved Parade will have to wait another year to return to the streets of Hyde Park. Instead, the 4th on 53rd celebration will occur in Nichols Park from 11 AM to 3 PM on Sunday, July 4th. Many of the traditional lawn games will be joined by several new activities. Bike decoration, a parade tradition, will still be part of the day's festivities.
