Grab your yoga mat or large towel and come join us for our Monday Movement & Meditation with Kate Decamp.
Join us for an hour of connecting with the place within us that is powerful and still through a series of movement practices followed by an open guided meditation.
The movement includes qigong flows which generate heat and circulate the blood as well as kundalini yoga kriyas which sync breathe to movement and invigorate our body and mind.
Engaging in Qigong and Kundalini Yoga for 30 minutes allows one to simultaneously slow down and speed up which creates more space and ease to drop into the 20 minute, open guided meditation.
Meditations will vary week to week to provide participants different experiences to find what meditation suits them best if they choose to practice on their own; whether it be a body scan, breath awareness, or self-compassionate touch, the meditations will focus on cultivating awareness and simply being.
The last 10 minutes will be spent sharing the impact of one's personal experience during the session and compassionately listening to the shares of other participants.
Note: The movements are suitable for most body types and ability levels and modifications can be provided. The meditations can be done lying down, seated, or standing based on need and preference.
