The founding fathers were smart enough to know that governments weren't to be trusted. They knew power corrupts and tyranny raises it ugly head soon or later. The United States gov is checked by the citizens to keep and bear arms, and history is replete wife governments going Rogue. Just think if the Jews had weapons to fend off hitter. Funny how liberals want to disarm the citizens, get rid of the filibuster, and change voting laws. Seems like they want to rule rather than govern. Yes the founding fathers were very very wise, and the 2 nd amendment is second for a reason, it protects the first and the rest.
Let's forget the second amendment for a second, it is a mans God given right to protect himself and his family and no man or woman, bianary or lgbtq individual has the right to say how. If you don't want to buy/own a gun fine, but please don't tell others how to protect themsleves. Like I said, it's settled law, the ar-15 is protected, so liberals can try to ban or regulate other guns, but they will only increase the sales/ownership of the dreaded assault rifleAr-15.
Let's remember, the AR in Ar-15 stands for armalite rifle.
