This position is responsible for assisting the Survey Crew Chief with measuring angles, distances and elevations during daily activities including boundary, topographic and construction surveys. Major responsibilities include utilizing various survey instruments and tools to perform field survey tasks, installs stakes, hubs, bars and other materials as directed by Crew Chief, cut vegetation with hand tools as directed by Crew Chief, places survey control monuments from positions established by field crew, installs traffic control as necessary to perform survey activities in a safe environment, monitors and replenishes field supplies for assigned crew and informs appropriate staff of any deficiencies, schedules, coordinates, and maintains log of vehicle maintenance of crew rig including regular maintenance, tires, washing, etc. Minimum Job Qualifications: The successful candidates and must have a valid Washington State Driver’s license, as well as able to pass a background check and have a safe driving record.
