I'm back in Chicago after over a decade abroad and looking to Make America Funky Again. Rock, blues, funk, jazz... James Brown, Hendrix, Muddy...awesome guitarists who also enjoy playing awesome rhythm lines, Ginger Baker-esque drummers, singers with guts and gravel - these are all things which my basses enjoy underpinning. 30s but experienced. Looking for fun people - because playing with unfun people is usually unfun - who are serious musicians. If you're a producer looking for a bassist with lots of musical ideas and a unique sound, and who takes instruction well, I'm always happy to get together, jam and see what ideas we can come up with/record/turn into million-sellers. For those who are players and not arrangers - let's end the corona quarantining of music and let loose the good times again for the unlucky non-musicians.
