HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Sign up today for the Howard County Library System's summer reading program. This free opportunity is open to both children and adults. Teens and children who earn 10 points will receive a free book while adults who earn 10 points will be entered into an end-of-summer prize drawing. Participants must track their reading and can play fun educational mini games while pursuing missions and unlock badges. A new mission is released each Monday through Aug. 23. One point is earned for each mission activity completed or book/reading activity logged. Register and participate online or download and print a paper copy at hclibrary.org/summer (copies available in English, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish).
