INTRODUCTION TO DEFENSIVE SHOTGUN: This class is perfect for the beginner and those who purchased one of these guns, but doesn't really know INTRODUCTION TO DEFENSIVE SHOTGUN Note: Both Classroom and Range will be held at the range. Classroom will be in Bldg "C" (620 Hurley Blvd, Palm Bay, Florida) This two part class begins in the classroom with a familiarization with the Defensive Shotgun.  This class is perfect for the beginner and those who purchased one of these guns, but doesn't really know much about it or how best to use it. In our first segment in the classroom you will learn about the Shotgun, what it does, what it doesn't do, and how to use it effectively (We dispel myths and provide you the knowledge to be highly effective).   The second part of the class takes place on the range where you will learn to safely and properly operate your shotgun as well as understand how it performs at different distances. Each attendee should bring their own shotgun and ammunition:  You will need the following - 2 boxes (50 shells) of light birdshot, 5 rounds of defensive buckshot, and 1 slug.  We will discuss these further in the class.  Bring hearing and eye protection, a hat, bottle of water and sunblock.  No low cut shirts or open toe shoes. **If you do not have your own Shotgun we will provide one for $15.00 and you provide your own ammuntion.   Please note that this is a defensive shotgun class an not a clay target sport shooting class.
