The Girls Empowerment Summit will bring young women together to start the new school year off with inspiration and encouragement. The Tallahassee-Leon County Commission on the Status of Women and Girls (CSWG) will host the Summit in partnership with Leon County Schools (LCS). Middle and high school girls are invited to come together for this free event to empower themselves and their friends to develop healthy relationships, grow in mental health wellness, and learn about how to plan for life after high school. Expert speakers will present on topics including celebrating each other's differences, starting a business and managing money, and taking care of your body, mind, and soul.
