PRINCETON, NJ - The popular Summer Reading Program offered by the Princeton Public Library is back this year. Beginning June 15 to August 15, readers can sign up any time to participate in reading challenges to win virtual badges and be entered into raffles for prizes from local merchants. This year's theme is "Reading Colors Your World." The program is open for children and adults. Participants can take the 20-day reading challenge. They have to read for at least 20 days to earn a virtual badge and an entry into the raffle. Much of this year's summer reading program can be completed online, said Jennifer Podolsky, Executive Director Princeton Public Library. Staff will be at the library seven days a week to offer book recommendations to readers. The library is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and until 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Sundays, they are open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The hold pickup service is open seven days a week for those who prefer to order books online.
