Vanderburgh Coronavirus Vaccinations Top 75,000

By John Gibson, WNIN June 7, 2021 Vaccinations against COVID-19 have topped 75,000 in Vanderburgh County. The Indiana Department of Health announced 241 more local residents have joined the ranks of fully vaccinated. The increase pushed the local total to 75,064. While the rate of vaccinations has slowed in recent weeks, triple-digit increases are still reported most days in Vanderburgh County. The last daily count above 1,000 was May 7th. Statewide, the department of health tallied nearly 16,000 new full vaccinations on the Friday dashboard. Two more COVID 19-related deaths are reported in western Kentucky.
