BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Multiple people were killed in several deadly crashes on Bucks County roads over the weekend. Additionally, a Bucks County teen was killed in a crash in Pike County just hours after attending the school's prom.
Three people were killed in a two-car crash late Friday in Haycock Township, outside the entrance of Nockamixon State Park.
The crash killed a 24-year-old New Jersey woman, as well as two Bucks County men, ages 25 and 26, Pennsylvania State Police said. A 26-year-old man who sustained life-threatening injuries was airlifted from the crash scene to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia.
The crash remains under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police.
Early Saturday morning, an 18-year-old Central Bucks High School East student who had traveled to the Poconos following the school prom earlier that evening was killed in a crash.
Nicholas Mannino, 18, of Pipersville, was with three other friends when their vehicle lost control, overturned and struck several trees around 1:20 a.m. on Ledgedale Road in Greene Township, Lackawanna County Coroner Timothy Rowland told 6ABC on Sunday morning.
Then, on Sunday night just after 10 p.m., another fatal crash was reported in Bucks County.
Pennsylvania State Police said a 17-year-old girl was killed in a Milford Township crash after crossing into oncoming traffic on John Fries Highway. That crash is under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police Dublin Patrol with the assistance of Troop M Forensic Services Unit, Bucks County District Attorney's Office, Bucks County Coroner, Saint Luke's EMS and Milford Township Fire Department.
