FREMONT, CA — Road improvement projects will force crews to take traffic signals offline at two major intersections in Fremont this week. The City of Fremont asks you to avoid driving through them, if possible. If you end up going through the intersections when the power is cut to the signals, treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Here's the schedule for the work: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday: Intersection of Fremont Blvd. & Mowry8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday: Intersection of Fremont Blvd. & Stevenson Blvd.
