Photo by Lee Clower Like many musical acts, comedy shows and theater, COVID-19 delayed scheduled shows throughout last year. Now that the COVID numbers are tumbling, many venues are beginning to reopen this year. Look no further than Alpharetta, Georgia's own Ameris Bank Amphitheater. Styx and Collective Soul will be there to reopen Ameris on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. EDT. I recently spoke with Collective Soul's Dean Roland on my podcast, Tales From The Corners. We talk about what the band was doing during COVID as well as getting back to touring. The band is special to the Atlanta area since it was created in nearby Stockbridge. The Henry County outfit quickly became known for their massive hits in the 1990s with, "The World I Know," "Shine," "December," "Where The River Flows" and much more. Beyond those successful singles, Collective Soul produced some of music's most eclectic full length albums including Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid, their self-titled release, Disciplined Breakdown, Dosage to 2019's Blood and the recently-released EP titled, Half and Half. Join me in The Corners to listen to my talk with Dean Roland, the rhythm guitarist for Collective Soul. Visit Tales From The Corners.com or... You may also listen and or download here:
