Description
TEMPE, AZ — The Tempe Union High School District is teaming up with Albertson's and other partners to host COVID-19 vaccination events this summer.
The point of dispensing (or POD) events will take place at Desert Vista and Tempe high schools through the summer months, with Pfizer vaccines given out, the district said.
The vaccination events are for anyone over the age of 12, as the district seeks to boost rates in the Valley region.
The event is in conjunction with the grocery store chain and the Maricopa Department of Public Health.
Anyone that's interested in attending one of the COVID-19 vaccination events can do so by visiting the event's website and entering the location they want to visit.
