Description
The leading collision repair service organization in Alaska is seeking a full-time Parts Coordinator to join our Anchorage team! We are looking for an enthusiastic personality who loves to help people and can be a rock star on a winning team. We are dedicated to furthering our employee's education and creating a happy, positive, and productive work environment where everybody matters! :: Objective :: Coordinate and expedite all activity pertaining to parts and sublet ordering, receiving and returning. Deliver complete, accurate undamaged parts to the Technicians. Ensure acceptable profitability is achieved on all purchases and promptly obtain credit memos and refunds. :: Minimum requirements :: Valid AK Driver License with a clean driving record High School Diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail Minimum two years of parts department, warehouse, stocking, or similar work Intermediate computer skills using applications including Alldata, Motors, Mitchell and various reference manuals and websites Ability to operate computer, telephones, scanners and printers Interest in automobiles :: Physical Requirements :: Ability to work outside for short time periods in cold temperatures Ability to stand, sit, lift, bend or work in small places for an extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. Ability to don a half mask or respirator :: Responsibilities include :: Participation in daily production meetings Establish and maintain relationships with parts and sublet vendors Issue PO’s, order, receive, and invoice sublet operations Follow up calls to vendors daily for ETA’s on parts not yet received Update ETA’s on management system DAILY Communication with front desk & production on arrival of parts Receive and invoice all parts both physically and electronically Check all parts thoroughly for damage and correctness Place parts on racks to distribute to technicians Store all parts not yet dispatched in a neat and orderly manner Post all part invoices into received screen when they are physically received Correct part descriptions when parts are price matched Tag and return for immediate credit for all incorrect, damaged and unused parts Follow up with vendors daily for credits or refunds not yet received Maintain inventory of rivets, fasteners, nut and bolts Monitor safety and shop supplies Be available to make parts/sublet errands to facilitate repair processes We offer an hourly based pay plan to support our team environment and a benefit package that will allow for time off for you to enjoy the Alaska lifestyle!
