General Laborer in the Demolition and Remediation Field - Primary jobsite locations are in and around Los Alamos NM but work may be needed elsewhere such as our Rio Rancho location so travel will be required. This position is full time, Monday through Thursday (four 10hour days) but may occasionally require overtime and/or weekend work. Full time benefits are included after a brief probation period and they include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as paid sick and vacation leave. Additional training will be required throughout the course of employment, we are looking for an applicant that is willing to learn the additional skillsets needed to move up within the company. Additional training may include HAZWOPER, OSHA, Heavy Equipment Operation, CDL, etc. This position requires many physical demands such as lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods of time, working outside in inclement weather conditions, walking long distances and on uneven terrain. Proper PPE will be provided to ensure all safety requirements are met. Laborer Job Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited To: · Performs various physical duties as assigned. · Maintain safety standards. · Perform specialized tasks which may require on and off the job training and assist other craft workers. · Effectively use heavy and small equipment and tools, depending on the jobsite/tasks. · Wear personal protective equipment such as hard hats, hearing protection, fall protection, respirators, etc. as needed · Demolition waste cleanup and removal · Decontamination work · Site, shop, and vehicle maintenance and housekeeping *Primary jobsite locations are in and around Los Alamos NM but work may be needed elsewhere such as our Rio Rancho location so travel will be required. Qualifications: Previous labor/construction/remediation/demolition experience (Minimum 1 year). Valid Drivers License, Clean motor vehicle record, Reliable transportation. Due to the nature and location of the work U.S. Citizenship is Required. Ability to pass Federal Background Check. Applicant must pass a pre-job drug screen.
